How ChatGPT Got Me to Pay $20 a Month

11/2/2023
I have been exploring ChatGPT since I learned about it back in January 2023. I am ready to take the plunge.

It is So Useful

I am a frugal person. That has helped me accumulate a bit of wealth over the years and put all my four kids through college (well actually one still has a couple years to go....). I have been developing websites again and as everybody knows, 'Content is King'. Here is a new tool ready to provide me with lots of content and as I found out two days ago, Images as well.

So It Begins

That was too easy. Just pop in a few numbers off of a plastic card, and now I am out $240 a year.

Time To Figure Things Out

I hope ChatGPT will help me learn ChatGPT. HaHa.....

Not Much Help

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, OpenAI had released the GPT-3 model but provided access through their API. They may have made updates or changes to their services since then, so I recommend visiting the official OpenAI website or doing an online search to get the most up-to-date information regarding any available tutorials for their API. You can typically find tutorials and documentation on their website or through their official blog.

Here's a general guide on how to find API tutorials for GPT-3 or other OpenAI models:

Visit the OpenAI website: Start by going to the official OpenAI website at https://www.openai.com.

Explore the "Documentation" or "Developers" section: Look for sections like "Documentation" or "Developers" on the website. This is where you're likely to find information on using the API.

Search for tutorials: Within the documentation section, you should be able to find tutorials and guides on how to use the API effectively. These tutorials may include sample code and explanations.

Check OpenAI's blog: OpenAI may release updates, tutorials, and examples through their blog. Be sure to browse through their blog posts for additional resources.

Online forums and communities: Additionally, you can search for discussions and tutorials in online forums and developer communities, such as GitHub, Stack Overflow, or Reddit. Many developers and AI enthusiasts share their experiences and code snippets related to OpenAI's APIs.

YouTube and video tutorials: Look for video tutorials on platforms like YouTube, as many creators create video guides for using OpenAI's APIs.

Remember that the availability of tutorials and documentation may vary depending on OpenAI's specific offerings and updates. Always refer to the latest information provided by OpenAI to ensure you have access to the most accurate and up-to-date resources for working with their API.

I Guess it will be YouTube Videos as my Next Step.

Where Do I Start? Arghhh

Now that I upgrade my account, where do I start. I think it will be with Python, but I am not sure. Time to watch some more YouTube Videos.
