I started blogging again in July 2023 after some job changes and my children growing up which gave me a lot more discretionary time. I do this for me, but I hope some others find my posts interesting or useful in some way.

What do I do now? I was counting on having the fabulouse Honeybaked Ham Champagne Mustard, but they were out..... Now what. I went searching for copy-cat recipes and here is what I found.
It Is A Hard Recipe To Find!
I went searching but it isn't clear how they make it. If you look back at the ingredients, there isn't much to it.
There recipe calls for a ton (1 cup) of dry mustard, 1/4 cup honey, salt, champagne, and fresh lemon juice. They also say "Aging this the 3-4 months as recommended will give you a delicate and smooth mustard."
My Take: This is not the same recipe as Honeybaked, but it might be very good
There were a couple of these versions as well with good reviews. Athough I don't think this is a winner, it is probably really good. One thing it is - SIMPLE, which has a lot going for it especially if it is good.

I Will Try To Make Three Versions
We will see if I have time to do this, but I will attempt to make three of my own renditions of this and have a taste test on Christmas.
Colman's Mustard vs The Rest
I can't seem to find Colman's Mustard readily available, and since I always try to find economical versions, I will probaby try a generic ground mustard and see how it goes.
