Various Thoughts and Useful Information

I Love Cooking

I started cooking in my teens as my mother encouraged me to learn how to cook, and I loved barbecuing steaks back then with my best friend Martin. When I moved out to college, I learned how to cook better out of necessity, as I needed to save money and not go out to eat, but I was picky about what I ate. My roommates and I worked together to learn to cook, and we tried a lot of new dishes, especially Asian food (because I love Asian food, and they happened to be Asian). My brother also loved cooking, and after I got married, he anonymously sent me a weekly recipe on an index card titled "Tiggers Tidbits". Tigger was his cat. He influenced me a lot in expanding my love of cooking.

Over the years, I began cooking more and more. I enjoyed teaching my kids to cook, and some of them have really taken to it, going to the next level in at-home-dining! During the pandemic, I spent a lot of time making whatever I did cook, GREAT. I wanted to perfect whatever I was making so that it would taste really good. Now that I have more time available to me, I continue to try to improve my cooking prowess. I have been finding or making up new recipes and have been documenting it on this website. I hope you find something interesting here, if you do, make a quick comment to let me know.
